Cold and Wet

I was looking forward to a Sunny Singapore when I flew back from Beijing. But gosh, it has been raining heavily here. hmph.......how can I forget, it's rainy season now. Apart from the hassle of carrying unbrellas and getting my jeans soaking wet, I actually quite like the weather. Perhaps I've grown used to cold weathers. After experiencing the -11 degrees, the air con and rains that used to make me shiver is now nothing, haha :P

In my last entry, I wrote about the wonderful people I met during the trip. One of the gals, CRS, has been smsing me these couple of days. It's fun texting her. I wonder how are the rest doing, S, LRS and everyone.

The trip has somewhat changed something in me. I don't feel like taking life too seriously anymore. I mean, it's really no good leading a stressful life and always on the rush. Why do it if it makes one miserable. Somehow, my perspective of things changed. I'm beginning to think, one must always treat oneself well...... then everything else appear beautiful. Basically, never deprive ourselves.

Did I say that I actually took on a holiday job just before I left for my trip? Wanted to explore abit. But that means I can't meet Pachi for lunch until the contract completes. I miss Pachi and guys. Gonna call her soon, but meanwhile, it's many many things to settle and errands to run.........

Eight Nights In Beijing

It's hard to believe I'm back here in Singapore, sitting at my window seat.

The eight days in Beijing felt like the longest time. Let's just say, I almost forgot I have a life here.

About the trip.... hmph........ visiting the historical sites bring all that China history I've learnt to life. There's nothing like experiencing the real thing. Climbing the Great Wall was a dream come true for me. For several reasons, the Great Wall has special meaning to me. I wrote this thesis on the Great Wall and it won me a distinction. I stood in the watch tower and looked across the hills.... I was thinking, wow, I wrote about this part, now I'm here.........

I had wanted to climb higher, but I was fearful of rolling down :P

I met the five most wonderful kids during the trip. One boy and four gals. The oldest is 12, and the youngest is 6. Had he greatest time with them. I always believe, every appointment is devine. Set and planned by our creater, that we all come at this point of time, to this particular place ad get to know each other. Time always move us on..... and life always progresses, but I shall always bring with me, their beautiful smiles.

And next trip, probably I'll head for HK, hmph..... see how it goes bah ^_^

Monkey Eats Chilli

Have you ever fed a monkey with chilli?

I have, when I was like three years old. And it got so angry with me.

I wasn't mischievous, just that, in our farm, we kept a monkey as pet. Every morning, I'd pick some fruits and give it to the monkey. There was this morning when I couldn't find anything except chilli. So I decided to just give it to the monkey :P It got mad at me and started hissing. That was the last time I ever got near that monkey.

Guess what? I did it again today, I fed my pinata monkey with chilli, and it mutated!!!

I took a short break from my assignment and got my hands on my viva pinata. But only for a short while.

Currently I have three pinata gardens. One with does, squirrels, rabbits and foxes. The foxes are really naughty.

The second one is a chilli farm.

The third one is my fav. It has got horses, sheeps, dogs and monkeys. I used to keep a pony there but it wouldn't stop fighting with the horses. So I had to get rid of it, sob sob............. though I like it alot.

The game has been absolutely fun until Professor Pestor appeared, and I'm only at level 24. It's a total pest. It killed my prized mutated monkey. But I quickly off the xbox before it auto saves that scene.
